Cornerstone University Reset Scholarships 50% Lower For The 2024-25 Academic Year

On October 19th, 2023, Cornerstone University announced a tuition reduction of 22% for the 2024-25 academic year as part of their “Reset Tuition” initiative. “The aim is to increase awareness that Cornerstone University is one of the most affordable, growing, private Christian universities in Michigan and the nation and to offer tuition transparency for students and families who might perceive that private education is financially out of reach.” ~ Cornerstone University

Academic Scholarship Changes:

Freshman Academic Scholarships

The President’s Scholarship has been reduced from $12,000 to $6,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 4.0 instead of the previous 3.93.

The Chancellor’s Scholarship has been reduced from $10,000 to $4,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 3.5 instead of the previous 3.57.

The Dean’s Scholarship has been reduced from $8,500 to $3,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 3.25 instead of the previous 3.25.

The Partners for Success Award has been reduced from $6,500 to $2,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 instead of the previous 2.72.

The Cornerstone University Assistance has been reduced from $2,000 to $1,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 2.50 instead of the previous 2.50.

Transfer Academic Scholarships

The Chancellor’s Scholarship has been reduced from $8,000 to $0 and now is delisted.

The Dean’s Scholarship has been reduced from $6,000 to $3,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 3.5 instead of the previous 3.0.

The Partners for Success Award has been reduced from $4,000 to $2,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 instead of the previous 2.5.

The Cornerstone University Assistance has been reduced from $2,000 to $1,000 and now requires a minimum GPA of 2.5 instead of the previous 2.0.
